Jungle Flower. Gouache and stabilo 68 pens on watercolour paper.

I told you about the new cheap opaque watercolours. Well, they got me into practising watermedia again which in this case means rediscovering my gouache paints. This time however I tried to paint with my waterbrush, which regarding the way I can handle it, is similar to a pen. I noticed that I had far more control painting this way.

And, by the way, of course the Gouache paints – even a student quality like the Reeves set – have much more pigment in them and can be nicely mixed on the palette…
