Not that I love those creatures. I love to watch documentaries about wild animals, and some of them show how thousands of gnus try to cross a river in Africa, and the crocodiles are watching and then you see them closing their mighty jaws aroung the poor animals, turning around in the water, ripping bloody parts off the bodies of the gnus.
On the other hand I’ve also seen a documentary about a female crocodile waiting for their offspring to leave the eggs. She then takes them in her mouth, between the huge jaws, and carries them into the water. Can we speak of tenderness when we describe the actions of a female crocodile? Probably not, but it definitely looks like it.
I’ve done the drawing with a ballpoint pen, and it did not take me more than 20 minutes. As you can see I did not do all the details, but nevertheless I think it looks quite crocodile-y.
