On me water has fascinating effects. It gives me the feeling of being on holidays. It calms me, it takes away the stress. I enjoy the different shades of blue, the sound of it, the movement of it – from a slight ripple to the beating of waves against rocks.

It might be a river, it might be a lake, and it might be the sea – water is just beautiful!

About Ulla Hennig

I live and work in Berlin. Taking photos is one of my hobbies, and writing is one of my hobbies, too. So I decided not only to show some of my pictures here but also present some of the thought which came wth the pictures.

Me too – I look out over the River Clyde, and it always calms me.

Very serene and beautiful picture you have there.

I feel very calmed by water. In fact too long without and I seem to be missing something. I want to live by the ocean some day. That is a life goal of mine

Oooh, I popped over to see what Ulla was up to and here was this beautiful blue, a look over your River Spree. Could you hear me exhale my sigh, and could you see my eyes open wide to welcome that view in?
Just beautiful. There is something about the water that both calms and energies me. Reminds me to breathe straight through to my heart.
