Little red haired witch on Zazzle

It took about a week from the initial sketch to the final version of the digital painting. That seems to be a long time, but I can only work on my graphics after work. I went through the various stages for three designs now, and I learnt quite a lot of things.

One of them was that even when I tried very hard I still had to work on the lineart digitally. Lines which I drew with pen and ink seemed to look okay on the paper, but looked wobbly on the screen and had to be redone. Now I understand why some illustrators upload their rough sketches!

Uploading it to Zazzle and putting it on a mug and a postcard was a matter of minutes.

About Ulla Hennig

I live and work in Berlin. Taking photos is one of my hobbies, and writing is one of my hobbies, too. So I decided not only to show some of my pictures here but also present some of the thought which came wth the pictures.
