Red Flows
Here I wanted to try out mixing blue and red. I also tried out my new acrylic paper – a paper pad from Daler Rowney with 20 sheets, each 8.3 x 11,7 inches. I somehow had the impression that the colours are more vivid on the acrylic paper, maybe due to the fact that they do not soak up as much paint as watercolour paper does. The paints I used were primary blue and primary red. In the middle of the painting you can see what primary blue looks like when it is pure – it is quite a light, transparent blue.
