Red Flower

Red Flower

Red Flower. Markers and coloured pencils. Ulla Hennig, June 2012

This is the result of experimenting with reds – Red copics and colourpencils in various red hues – and greens.  For the shadows I used magenta and prussian blue.

I had no photo reference. First I had some tulips in mind but I am afraid that this flower is not a tulip. It is just a vibrant and colourful flower.
